Tucker Fairbanks

Tucker Fairbanks Burrington finally arrived!! He was born on May 28 at 9:02 am. He weighed 7 lb 12 oz (the same as Cooper) and was 19 1/2 inches long. He's perfect! We have had pretty good nights (knock on wood) and can't complain about him being a fussy baby! Grammy and Papa have been here to help keep Cooper busy, so who knows what we have to look forward to once they leave. Here are the first of many Tucker pictures!

Baby time...

Well, everything looked good at todays appt., the Dr. said I'm ready to have the baby so we said lets do it!! She called the hospital and we are going in at 9 tonight to have a baby!!! She will start me on some easy med., said nothing will probably happen before midnight, and they will start stronger med. in the morning if they need to. Looks like tomorrow (5/28) will be Baby B's birthday. I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance after he/she gets here!!

Baby B update

At my appt this morning my blood pressure was high, she asked how I felt about being induced (one dr. said I had to wait til 41 weeks, but this Dr. said she'd do it Thurs if I want to be that soon). We left it that I would go back on Friday, see if anything is changing (still at a one & she stripped my membranes today). Then she re-checked my BP, it was still high so I have to go back tomorrow (Wed.) instead of Friday, get an u/s to check fluid levels and see if the membrane stripping helped progress anything. JP is going with me so we can decided if/when I want to be induced. We are going to take my bag tomorrow just in case. Come on Baby B!!!

Almost there...

Well, here is the big belly from 39 weeks...hopefully the next picture will be of Baby B!!! When I went to the Dr. on Thursday I was still only dialated to a one, go back on Tuesday, hopefully something will be happening by then.

Big Brother day

Today JP took the day off work so we could spend the day with Cooper before the baby comes. We started off by going to Schnepf Farms and picked peaches. They gave us a box, and sent us into the orchard. They told us we could eat all we wanted while we picked, just had to pay for what ended up in our box. Cooper was eating a peach the whole time we were there. When he was done with one, he just picked another.

After the peach-picking, we went to Build a Bear so Cooper could make a bear for the baby. Months ago he picked out "scruffy puppy" to make and knew he would name the puppy Buster. When we walked into the store, Cooper went right over to the bear/puppy he wanted and got in line. We really talked to him a lot before we built the puppy that it's for Baby B, not for Cooper! When we got home Cooper took Buster in and introduced him to Mo, then we put Buster in the baby bed for nap, and amazingly, he's still in there. Cooper is having more fun with the box/house that Buster came in.

We had a great day, now we just need Grammy to get here on Monday night and we'll be all ready for Baby B to arrive!!

Puppy house

The other night Cooper was getting the pillows to build a house and before he got started he asked where the blueprint was. JP and I looked at each other, how does he know about blue prints??? JP asked what he needed to do with a blueprint and Cooper told him that gave him the instructions to build a house.


Tonight he was playing, looking for blueprints, he was ready to build a house for Mo. Here are some pictures of the dog house...

What next??

The other night out of the blue Cooper ran over, got the remote control, stuck Mo up his shirt and got on the couch. The whole time JP and I just sat and watched. Cooper laid on the couch and put the remote on his belly, he was waiting for Mo to move...what will he do next?? I'm thinking if the baby comes before my mom gets here to help watch Cooper, Cooper can just go into the delivery room with us, he's seen so much already, heck, he can probably deliver the baby for me!

iPod problems

JP has some kind of iPod sensor that tracks his workouts. It was not working right so he kept walking around the house to try to fix it. Copy-cat Cooper saw him doing this, ran and got one of his tennis shoes and had to get his iPod to work too! Here are the boys (cute outfits and all) trying to get iPods to work...

Busy Baby B

Tonight the baby was moving like crazy, so I put the remote on my belly so it's easier to see the movement...here is just a little bit of its movement...I think he/she is ready to be here already!!! He/she was moving a lot more than this, but my camera man (JP) is not too patient to wait around to video it!

Big brother

This morning Cooper and Mo woke up and Mo was "crying" for some reason, so Cooper put him in the baby swing to make him happy. He made me take his picture to show Grammy & Mimi. If he helps out and takes care of the new baby as well as he does Mo, he'll be a great big brother.
