Skippy

Now that we have two little boys, Santa needed some helping keeping up with them. He sent his best elf Skippy to help out. Skippy came to our house Thanksgiving morning and stayed until Christmas. Every night he would leave and report to Santa and let him know if they were naughty or nice that day. When Skippy would come back, he would find a new spot to sit and watch from that day. Cooper had fun searching for Skippy, and Tucker got interested a lot more than we expected him to this year. He would get up and search for "pippy" too. They were not allowed to touch or move Skippy.

One morning Skippy was in JP's car to watch the boys while on the way to daycare, so the boys couldn't find him in the house. Tucker would run to the usual spots, hoping to find him. JP called me when they got in the car, they were both so excited and kept an eye on Skippy the whole way!!

Since we traveled to MO this year, Santa sent a letter saying it was okay for Skippy to go with us. On Christmas eve Cooper was allowed to give Skippy a hug since he was going to leave with Santa when he came to drop off the gifts. I think Cooper enjoyed that more than anything. They both still talk about Skippy and can't wait for him to come back next year!
